P. Stamatogiannis: H.E.C. is a shield for the environmental protection
“Hellenic Environmental Center (H.E.C.) was founded by Aegean Petroleum Network as a shield for the environmental protection” points out Mr. Panagiotis Stamatogiannis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of H.E.C., speaking at maritimes TV, in the context of the presentation of new models for the harbor establishments of the company in the area of Drapetsona, on Thursday 22 September 2016.
He stresses that since its establishment until today, continually invests and develops, something which was internationally recognized, occupying a top position.

Stavros Kasidiaris: Annually Skaramagkas was repairing 580 ships…
“… and at the same time about 900 ships were repairing in Perama” says Mr. Stavros Kasidiaris, President of Association of Electricians Repairers and Shipbuilders and ECOMASYN, speaking about the ship repair activity in Greece when the shipyards were functioning.
According to the study made by the National Technical University of Athens, in the productive years of Skaramagkas shipyard 71 vessels were built and 22.000 workmen were employed. Nowadays, unemployment exceeds 90\% in the industry, while he stresses that the causes that led to this impairment of the ship repairing should be removed.
