DEPA which is a provider of LNG in Greece and shows great interest in the development of gas supplies to ships in recent years, signed a memorandum of cooperation with Attica Group, in order that they see with more specific data the existing various alternatives and thus, a relationship consumer or customer- supplier relationship be obtained, as it was highlighted by Mr. Giorgos Polychroniou, Operations Director of Strategy & Corporate Development of DEPA and Spyros Paschalis, CEO of Attica Group, in their interview at maritimes TV.       

Mr. Giorgos Polychroniou expressed his optimism about the achievement of commercial cooperation with Attica Group “for LNG supply in a way which is, of course, beneficial and efficient for the customer side, as it is natural and expected”.

According to Mr. Paschalis, Attica Group has evaluated the cost of converting the ship mechanical systems in order that they receive LNG as fuel, given that one of its ships runs on LNG fuel the line Greece- Italy.
