Having as a compass the end- user needs and satisfaction, MAN B&W invests not only in sections, such as the best application of its machines in new vessels and the reduction of energy consumption in ships, but also in the development of technology for the use of new fuels, such as Liquefied Natural Gas.
“The environmental regulations, the market requirements for further reduction of the ship management operating costs and the need to enter into the digitization era – which now drives everything, push us to take steps and further invest in research and development so that we recommend solutions”, notes Mr. Dionisis Christodoulopoulos, Director of MAN DIESEL & TURBO HELLAS, speaking at maritimes TV, in the context of “Technical Update 2016” workshop which was organized by the company on the premises of MAN PrimeServ Academy, in Piraeus, on Wednesday 7 December.
He speaks about Piraeus office. As he highlights, it moves in three main axes: the satisfied customers, the social offer and the development of both the local office and the whole group of MAN B&W which develops its activities worldwide.
Next year MAN DIESEL & TURBO HELLAS completes 50 years of constant presence and development in Greek market, something which, as Mr. Christodoulopoulos says “fill us with confidence. We have past, present and continuity”.
