At maritimes TV, Dr. DING Yu from the HARBIN ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY of China notes that the reduction of environmental pollutants is of concern to the international community and particularly to shipping, where the development of alternative energy sources such as Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is a solution.

He refers to research activities and expertise developed by the University concerning LNG as marine fuel and the financial support provided by the Chinese state in this direction.

He also speaks about the under Greek- Chinese cooperation LNGCOMSHIP Research Program and the further deepening of this cooperation.
