“H.E.C. is a purely Greek company which introduced the innovative connection of shipping and energy with ecology and environmental protection” emphasized the President of Hellenic Environmental Center (H.E.C.) Mr. Dimitris Melissanidis, at the presentation of new models for the harbor establishments of the company in the area of Drapetsona, on Thursday 22 September 2016.
He noted that it is the most modern waste oil treatment plant in the world, constructed with very strict specifications.
Concluding his speech, he referred “We are in a plant that ranks Greece among the most developed countries in the world concerning the protection of the marine environment”.
Mr. Michalis Psaromichalakis, Director of Research and Development Department of H.E.C. presented the operation of the plant.
Then Mrs Maria Loizidou, professor of the School of Chemical Engineering and Director of the Laboratory of Environmental Science and Technology at the National Technical University of Athens, conveyed the impressions of the scientific community.
