In this success and widespread recognition of the training center, the cooperation with Furuno Hellas played a catalytic role.
For his part, Mr. Yiannis Papaefthymiou, Director of Furuno Hellas, notes that he feels vindicated by this cooperation and he points out that GMC is one of the few centers in the world that works with simulators, in combination with the real engines on board.
In its five years of operation, GMC has signed more than 7.000 certificates, and it cooperates with 114 shipping companies.
