45 customers - including Technical Managers from the largest Greek Shipping companies - joined the event, which begun in the early evening with a 1 hour presentation session.

The welcome speech was given by Managing Director of MDT Hellas office – Mr.Dionissis Christodoulopoulos – who pointed out the enhancement of the turbocharger activity in the Greek region with the establishment of a complete program for turbocharger trainings, a service team for TC repairs on field and also a workshop, which is under planning and is expected to be materialized within 2016. Additional speakers Mr. Dirk Balthasar – Head of Sales and Promotion, Turbocharger, Mr. George Drossos – Head of Marine New Sales and Promotion, Mr. Sephardim Koblenz – Head of Marketing, Turbocharger and Mr. Klaus-Peter Ebel – Head of Technical Service, Turbocharger presented the updates, trends and troubleshooting issues of turbochargers.

In continuation, a 3-course dinner took place during which customers had the opportunity to enjoy their dinner while the dismantling of a TCA44 was taking place in the middle of the exhibition area.

During the dismantling, the compressor wheel was taken off by a trained engineer, who showed off the overhauling procedure of the TCA44 turbocharger. Invitees enjoyed the procedure, and also participated with questions and asked for live feedback.
