Startups will have the opportunity to present their ideas and compete in front of the Piraeus blue economy network, the members of BlueGrowth Advisory Board and the audience. The winners will gain an access to unique incubation services and a strong network in blue economy. New companies, ambitious founders, eager investors and a vibrant maritime innovation ecosystem are the results and the recognition of BlueGrowth on local and international level.

In fact, we are launching Bluegrowth 2.0. within the framework of the Piraeus Integrated Territorial Investment financial tool. According to Mr. Petros Kokkalis, Executive City Councilor for Local Economic Growth &Entrepreneurship of Piraeus Municipality, “the vision of Blue Growth is to inspire the new generation of entrepreneurs to create sustainable economic, social and environmental growth in the blue economy”.
This pioneering work, under the auspices of the Municipality of Piraeus and powered by Aephoria, awarded as a European Urban Best Practise has established Piraeus as the capital of blue innovation.
