The lecture will focus on items of expenditure that will be considered as part of the reasonable cost of repairs and claimed under the Hull & Machinery policies of insurance of the vessel. Typical items of expenditure include removal expenses, temporary repairs, in case of tankers cost of gas freeing/tank cleaning, drydocking dues & general services, supply of spare parts including air transportation, fees & expenses of Shipowners Superintendent and Classification Surveyor etc.

After the meeting hors d’oeuvres, wine, soft drinks, etc. will be served.

Participation is FREE for professional and student members, 5 euros for non-member students and 10 euros for non-member professionals. Participation fees will be paid at the entrance prior to the start of the meeting.
